Dr Prerana Garg
A Family Physician by training with an interest in Sleep Medicine
Dr Prerana has over 20 years of healthcare experience across India and Australia in clinical patient care. With her Sleep Technician credentials in 2011 her keen interest in Telemedicine and healthcare data analytics led her to start her venture SLEEP CURE SOLUTIONS which has been working with sleep centres across the globe mainly Australia, USA, Canada, India and providing them with sleep study data analysis, interpretation and reporting services.
With a combination of sharp clinical acumen and business degree from IIM Calcutta she spearheads her venture with a drive and focus to provide quality healthcare solutions.Her work and contribution has been recognised both nationally and internationally. She received the Exceptional women of Excellence 2019 award by Women Economic Forum. She has received the Distinguished Award for two consecutive years 2018 and 2019 for contribution to Sleep medicine on a global platform in Vancouver, Canada by World Sleep Society. She was awarded Businesswoman of the year 2018 by India Australia Business Council for leading her venture to become the leading service provider in Australia. She received the Women Entrepreneur of the Year (Middle East Asia)– Healthcare Award 2017 by The World Leadership Federation in Dubai for consistently demonstrating exceptional and progressive leadership.
She delivers real business impact and applies innovative thinking to push boundaries and do things differently and for this Haryana Chest Society and Association of Physicians India in 2018 conferred on her the Innovation in Healthcare Delivery. Under her leadership SCS was nominated as the Business of the Year Award – Healthcare in 2017 by ETNow & #startupIndia. She received the Operational Excellence Award by Philips Healthcare in 2016 and Quality Champion Award by Johnson &Johnson in 2014.
Her mantra “Believe in Yourself and Persist’ has inspired many striving to succeed. Outside of work she enjoys her fitness workout like morning briskwalk & Yoga, freestyle bollywood dancing, spending time with family & friends.
